"Weekly" Prayer Points (21 August)

Synod of the Anglican Church of Chile (it takes place every 3 years)

Dear amigos,

• Praise God for having had Ximena (Dagmar’s mum) with us for two months. She is such a godly and loving lady! Please pray that God may take her safely back to her husband (she living tomorrow, Tuesday 22nd August) and that the Lord may sustain her and Dagmar through the grieving process of having to be separated again.

• Praise God for the way he allowed Pato to encourage the saints at St. Luke’s Miranda Global Mission Prayer Breakfast (even though it was at 8 am!!). We praise God for their continuos and loving support during these years in Australia and for their decision of having us as their link missionaries in Chile.

• Praise God for the good outcome of the General Synod of the Anglican Church of Chile (IACH). Please keep praying that God may continue using his church in Chile for his honour and glory.

• Praise our Heavenly Father for our recent visit (last Sunday) to St. Stephen’s – Willoughby. We shared in their three services about the work of CMS in Chile and Pato preached the Word hoping that the Spirit may compel the saints to keep supporting the efforts to reach the nations with the good news of Jesus. We praise God for the warm and loving welcome that we have received in St. Stephen’s every time we visit them. We praise God for their support through CMS and because they have invited us every single year we have been in Australia.
